I mean I’m not complaining. More miles are still more miles at the end of the day. I get paid the same whether empty or loaded so it doesn’t matter to me.

    rokue and bzinger Thank this.

Kicked the can down the road as much as I could, in a shop now getting 10 new tires all the way around and alignment, gonna be an expensive day!.. was planning on doing it up in NE, but I did a grease job yesterday and noticed another bad spot on a steer tire that I hadn't seen before, guess it'd been on the bottom every time I'd checked em lately.. don't wanna risk blowing a steer, so this load will just have to be rescheduled... ugh

Found out what had been causing the issue with that one steer tire cupping on the outside edge... wheel is warped!.. gotta replace it now too!

Was you the first driver of that truck or the 2nd? Was it curbed to cause warping?

    BigR Thanks this.

So it wasn’t the nut behind the wheel?

I'm the first driver, it's never been curbed..although when it was a company truck, they use premounted tires, so I'm sure the wheels were swamped out when they changed tires back then so who knows... it wore the same tire the same way on my last set of steers, didn't catch this then, thought it was an alignment issue, but I'm sure this was the issue then too

    bzinger and rokue Thank this.
