Over the last few months, I have been unassigned from several loads and had to flex to a Plan B load at the last minute, which has been an uptick in that category, but nothing like what you are hitting.

I have been getting more Broker loads than normal over the last few months. Must be supplementing with less than quality loads to keep our wheels rolling which might be creating the issues you are hitting.

But at least the wheels are rolling and we aren’t sitting a bit more than normal.

    Friend and runningman0661 Thank this.

Sometimes, I will point out what they are doing wrong... if I get the usual "drive your own truck" BS.... well, someone driving a desk gets to tell them how to drive a truck, since they obviously need the help.

I just had my 2nd load in a row with the wrong destination on it. Don't know if it's a broker issue, or the shipper. In both cases, I got the OK to proceed to the destination in the work assignment, and they would get the right bills to me. On the first one, I dropped it at the customer with the bad BOL, since no one was going to be there until today, and I had a hard appt for my next p/u. On this one, I am still en route, so we will see how it plays out. This is in addition to two different loads brokered by Arrive Logistics out of shippers in South Carolina over the last 3 weeks that were already picked up before I ever got there.

    MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this.

I would be tempted to step out there and put a stick in their spokes...

I agree..depending on their attitude is whether i call or not..most of the time i will ask them to please slow down in the parking lots because many folks on foot and usually they’ll apologize and whatnot..the fools who give attitude i just call in on them.

Make up your mind. Do you call or not? The first thing you said that you call if they actually dumb then turn around and say depending on their attitude. I guess some people never change with their attitudes.
