Looks like some weather in the Northeast and Sunday night through Monday night in the Greater Omaha areas and surrounding states.

If you are in these areas please stay safe. The first big storm is notorious for others screwing up and forgetting how to drive in winter conditions.

And of course we always need to be safe out there as well.

    stay safe

This isn't gonna be anything compared to what's coming to the central plains late next week .

Not only snow but arctic temps too.. they’re supposed to have highs around -5° in Montana.

The bottom drops out in omaha on Thursday with highs in the single digits and lows in the single digits below zero for the 7 day period.

The craptastic Carrier APU saga continues. Today’s problem?

It just flat out won’t work. No buzzing noise before it starts, no cranking, nothing.

I’m this close to just taking the #### thing off myself so I don’t have to deal with it anymore.

Don't sweat the small stuff, let it idle.

After 10 days off I left the house Wednesday, bounced down to a new customer in Pooler, Ga., took that straight through to Northern Ga. Live unloaded, went across the street and grabbed a load going to Valley. From there I went up to BD in Columbus going out to San Diego for Monday. I will reload at the same place coming back to Nebraska.

I’m taking the scenic route due to weather. Flagstaff is going to get hammered tonight into tomorrow with 5 to 9 and inches and 50 mph winds. So I cut down 25 out of Albuquerque, and will avoid all that craziness in flagstaff.

Agreed. If it ain’t working, just call it in and idle the Truck. Especially since I hear cold weather is coming.

I like to run down through US 52 from Santa Rosa to Alamagordo, or across US62/380/70 from Lubbock to Alamagordo. I ran that route to CA almost all last winter, since I-40 was closed across NM/AZ so much. I like those routes so much that I just ran that way even when it warmed up. It avoids a lot of the more interesting drivers that tend to play "follow the leader bumper cars" across 40.
