In Fremont for the night. Load doesn’t really have an appointment time on it so Amber sent out an email to planners to figure that out. Also had her check when the trailer last had service since the dates on the trailer were illegible. Apparently it was serviced last August. Oops
I have a feeling they’ll just have me leave it here and take or go get something else

they had me drop that load here in the yard. I’ll be taking a reset since i’ve been on recaps for the past week. Going out to Aurora tomorrow morning to grab a trailer headed out to Victorville.

Had a nice and easy day today taking the backroads through the Big Hole Valley.
This is Trapper Peak just south of Darby MT. There’s a nice pull out here.
I think the mountain on the right is the one that almost killed Hank Jr.
Stopped at the chain removal on Chief Joseph Pass to let the dog out.
Last drop in Butte in the morning then I’m headed back to Lincoln. -
I made it to the rest area in Alexandria MN with 23 minutes to spare. I’m on an overnight schedule I’ll peel out about 8:30 tonight. Which is just fine with me I wanna get thru Chicago before morning rush. Get on the other side and hopefully make it past Scary Gary. I’ll unload Thursday but won’t have a whole lot of time to reload anything or put miles on it. Do you fellers suppose if I suggest I’ll just keep running til next Wednesday night/Thursday and then take an extended weekend and be ready Monday since I’d be out almost 3 weeks they’d go for that? Thought I’d feel you guys out first before I asked.

I have a sneaking suspicion that either the clutch in this truck is just starting to go or something else is afoot. It’s been grinding slightly when it changes gears, especially at slow speeds, and every once in awhile i get a faint whiff of something burning. I don’t think it’s the brakes because it smells a bit different. I also just noticed today that the truck is making a whirring sound that I hadn’t noticed before. No lights of any kind and the truck otherwise drives like it has been but something just seems a bit off.
