Someone really exerted extra energy when they dropped this one.

Set up to clear my fenders. I’m used to cranking trailers up to get under them but when the front barely clears a lo pro 22.5 and won’t clear the back edge of the fender that means it also barely cleared the tires of whoever dropped it. When I drop a trailer I leave the pads up about 6” off the ground and let my bags fully deflate before pulling out because I realize my 5th wheel is taller. I guess it was just a rant because if any o/o had anything other than lo pro 22.5’s they wouldn’t have even cleared the front of the trailer.

Picked up in Dublin, GA and filled up here at the TA north of Forsyth. Hopping on GA state highways that will spit me out onto I-20 10 minutes east of the Alabama state line. Ain’t no way i’m going anywhere near Hotlanta on a Friday afternoon before a major holiday weekend

I have the opposite issue. I had my fifth wheel lowered so I could pull vans (which is about never) so I wind up having to lower full tankers most times.

Even if I didn’t have fenders and my riser was 2” lower I still wouldn’t slam into a trailer to pick it up when it barely clears my drive tire.

DonRobbie, dwells40 and mitrucker Thank this.
