Stormed pretty bad back home yesterday afternoon . Power went out at the house and isn’t supposed to be back on until tomorrow at 6 PM. I-70 West is apparently pretty screwed up as well from all the trees that were blown down so if you are running West from Indiana expect some delays.

I guess the hopper is empty in the Fremont area. Understandable given all the flooding that folks have better things to do than load trucks but still a bummer. I’m finishing my reset tonight and the plan was, past tense, to get rolling early in the morning tomorrow. Current plan is if nothing comes through before 5 to expect them to try to find something 7 or 8 tomorrow morning.

Sitting here in Barstow, Ca. Delivering in Victorville tomorrow. And pick up in Victorville tomorrow headed to walmart in loveland, co for Saturday. Been running recaps all week. So hot here in barstow 104 degrees.

Making the move to do lease purchase. Waiting for a call from Mike in recruiting. Sounds like i will be possibly be leasing my current truck. Otherwise i would be put on wait list.

Good news is the house has power again. The bad news was the Duke (energy) boys managed to make a spontaneous unplanned electrical connection in the process. So the fire department had to come out and count the Duke boys’ fingers and toes. Fortunately they can all still count real good for Hoosiers.

At 5 minutes til 5 they came through, it’s a live load/unload but beggars can’t be choosers. Running up to a delightful grocery warehouse (that’s sarcasm, kids) in York, Pennsylvania. Been there before and it’s no garden spot but there are much, much worse places. Glad to be moving.

The big C&S or whatever it’s called? I’ve been into that one a couple times with my old company. It’s not bad for a live unload place.

    DonRobbie Thanks this.

If it’s the Sioux honey load going to York, it’s not a bad load.

    DonRobbie and motocross25 Thank this.

Waiting to be loaded at Dr. Pepper in Victorville, Ca. They said couple hours to be loaded, let's see if their couple hours turns into a all day affair. Lol
