Amen brother!! I usually come skidding into the KC yard Friday night/Saturday morning for hometime with less than a full day left on my 70. This week I had 38 hours left. :biggrin_25513:

I’m fixed but I don’t have a load until Monday morning at 11 so I have rounded up an empty trailer and parked for the weekend In Pontoon Beach, Illinois. I did have a choice of 2 loads and could have taken one that left at 9 but it was a multi stop with a Tuesday appointment for the first drop and a possibility of getting hung up there and not getting it done until Wednesday, and I would really, really like more than 500 miles on this check.
This will be my 3rd reset on this 8 days of logs.
Transmission was well behaved on the 50 miles I put on the truck today at least.

I left the house Monday, when I deliver this in Minnesota Tuesday morning I will have 4432 paid miles. Is that an anomaly, who knows. Before I was off for eleven days my previous few weeks were in the 3K mile range. Another longhaul driver I talk to pretty regularly says the last month or so has been slower than normal.

    Pretty g
Good for this economy especially if you're mileage paid. Guessing the percentage driver's/owner operator's got it little tuffer right now.

That's rough on yall owner operator's. I hope it picks up soon...I took off for 8 days came back Thursday looks like I'll have close to 2000 miles when I deliver Monday in Dallas and maybe get another short run in before cut off. Last pay check was for 888 mile. Fortunately I'm dept free so that helps.
