    Sounds good me and @BigR were wondering about you the other day and how it was going. You’re the only FCC flatbedder we have on this thread so don’t be stingy with the updates please!

    Awesome. Glad to see your backside in a seat here. Looking forward to hearing about your adventures in the flatbed division. I don’t think we’ve had anyone here from that side of the Yard before but I could be very wrong.

    (It’s happened before)

    stay safe

    Deliver in Ennis TX tomorrow then swing thru Dallas and drop and swap for KCMO. No broker loads this week, maybe the worm is starting to turn.

    *[bruce buffer] ITTTTTSSSS TIIIIMMMMEEEE*

    Checked in with my dispatcher this morning to let him know that I was ready. He got back with me around 9 and said everything was good on FCC’s end.

    First load;
    Pick up a preloaded trailer from the Lincoln drop yard. Vinyl fencing from York, NE to Riverside, CA.

    Currently in Cheyenne for the night as the load doesn’t deliver until Monday. If I play my cards right, I can get a 34 in this weekend (not that I need one). I can also bake in Barstow while I reset.

    Don’t flatbed drivers get paid more than regular OTR van?

    Yes. I think it’s like 10 CPM or something.

    No diesel @ Petro in Salina, KS, computers are down. I asked them why the two diesel lanes on the end have been shutdown for a couple of months now and they said that last big storm we had damaged the canopy structurally and they're afraid it will collapse, good to know I guess. And they closed the Iron Skillet due to staffing issues. Build Back Better.
