I’ve had leg issues in a 389 I was in. They sent me to Peterbilt and got me a seat base adapter I THINK it was called. It’s just an aftermarket base for your seat with holes further back. Took the seat out, took the base out put the new one in put the seat all the way back and room aplenty. Idk if something like this is available for Freightliner but I would think it would be. Might be worth asking Travis next time you’re around. It’s a game changer for sure.

No you went with what they gave you. Take more breaks maybe that will help.maybe a Volvo would have more leg room.

I don’t think that would do much. There’s a big cabinet behind the drivers seat

Mike had two trucks to choose from, that 579 or a condo KW. I’d rather not ask him again because i don’t want to seem like a bother

Are you up against the cabinet with the seat all the way back?

Just get a dog and get out of the truck every 2-3 hours during the day.

Ya, with my shorter legs I don’t have the same issue but I am developing lower back issues for a couple reasons related to these seats.

I thought about getting a dog in the Truck just for that very reason. Would force me to stop when I’d be more than happy to push it through to the next stop.

We could probably all benefit from getting outside this 8x8 box for some sunshine and leg/back stretches a few times a day.

    … or walk the dog

Just watch some of the big long haul super truckers waddle inside from the fuel island and you can see why you need to get out and walk a bit every few hours. It comical but saddening. I dolly a little freight everyday so I still get exercise.

Just kidding MacDaddy! You probably don’t do the stiff leg wobble walk that looks like you pooped your pants. Lol
