Shane is supposed to be in at 8 Central so if there’s no motion in the Ocean by then I’m going to have to bug him and see if there’s any better options.

i had roughly the same time left on my clock in CB. I could’ve made it to Wyoming for a reset but decided to just go home for mine. As long as I get where i need to be when i say, i’ve never had them gripe to me about where i take my resets

The Loves isn’t answering their phone, talked to Shane and the answer is I’m going to sit at the Petro until it’s done. Once it’s in the bay I’m going to grab a shower.
If I’m really lucky I might be able to get to bed at a decent hour tonight.

The house is 11 hours of driving away, leaving at noon I’d be there about midnight tonight. Then I’d be leaving at 10:00 Monday and rolling in to the customer around 20:00. Leaving from here at 06:00 Sunday blows but I can make on time delivery Monday (penciled in at 16:30) and can be pretty close to being on my normal schedule (03:00-17:00) by the time I empty out. Plus then I have 34 hours of downtime this weekend instead of 48-50 hours.

I try not to be a boomer, but smartphones are a curse. Almost every time I’ve been in there the tech is seated and diddling on their phone. I get it, a lot of the work can be physically or mentally taxing and sometimes you need to take a minute but it sure does seem they are taking a lot of minutes.

Got pulled into the shop at 9, they just called for the approval at 11. Now to wait for the actual work to be done. Eating a ‘fancy’ meal in the restaurant (with silverware!) while I wait.

    Well, redacted.
They apparently didn’t check if they had the part to fix the leaking hub before they took it apart, so now the trailer is disabled until at least Monday when they can order the part.
