If you ever have the opportunity to go to Graphic Packaging in Middletown, OH just don’t. Take my word, there’s nothing you need to come here for. Lol

Well an unproductive day mileage wise but stuff got done that needed to get done. They had me drop my Pepsi load in CB to get reappointed and yesterday my apu decided it needn’t work anymore. When I called CB to tell them I was comin and if they had time to look at my apu I was met with “absolutely… by the way you’re like 3k miles over on a full service”. So spent all day getting my apu worked on, fluids changed and 10 new tires. And finally got the ole Tupperware torpedo washed, so we’ll see what tomorrow has in store.

What are they running for drive tires? I have 300k on my Michelins and they’re at 8/32. I’m trying to decide if I want to push them into winter or just pull them off with some life left.

    motocross25 Thanks this.

Bridgestone M760. I’m glad they put em on now that way they’ll be broke in hopefully before the first snowfall.

I got the same Bridgestone tires on my 579. I believe this Freightliner has Hankooks. The steers are Michelins though

    Long FLD Thanks this.

yup, if I had my wife with me, I would have needed to slide my 5th wheel all the way up. might have still been borderline on the drives, until some fuel burned off.

M22 rockcrusher and dwells40 Thank this.

I never liked brand new drive tires in the winter. They ‘squirm’ a bit, always feels like they’re breaking loose. I like to have a couple months of wear on them before I see the first flake.
