Empty Flatbed Update


Delivered my load of rail car wheels in Slaton TX this morning. Next load picks up tomorrow morning FCFS in Georgetown TX going to Roca NE. 348 empty miles for a load of stone.

Postioned myself 7 miles away to be “first in line” in the morning. With the rest of the “first in line” people.

 

Thank you for the words of encouragement! With as many trucks as I saw heading up 183 this afternoon, I don’t think it matters how close I am to the place or what time I get there. It’s gonna be a cluster.

 

Took 11 hours from Chattanooga to Columbia, sc yesterday I hate the traffic...

Pulled into Grandview, WA with 50 minutes left on my 70. I’ll be firmly on recaps from now until hometime before Christmas i suspect.

I’m almost certain i’m grabbing something out of Yakima as dispatch said load wouldn’t be ready until mid morning.

 

As i suspected, load out of Yakima that’s going to Colby, WI. Load won’t be ready until noon though. Almost 1800 paid miles with deadhead. Probably won’t get there until Tuesday due to my recap hours. 90/94 seems to be in the clear for the next several days so that will be good

I’ll try to get into Montana this evening if i can, probably Missoula
