Savannah is, in my opinion, one of our best Customers, period.

They normally get us in and out quicker than a DnH and the dock guys are awesome to deal with as long as you don’t slow them down… lol

but this massive rollout and shifting of inventory around the country is tossing wrenches into everything.

Sitting here today with a 1200 LUL and reload to NJ but again they are just over flowing with trucks as if they can’t accommodate all the outbound in addition to their normal flow. Sitting here still loaded and then have like 11 trucks ahead of me needing their reloads first.

I’m sure there’s a reason but seems it would or should work to unload us and then immediately load us while we are on their dock. But again, I know it’s not that easy either.

So, if you touch Savannah, be prepared to document your in/out times and settle in for a few relaxing hours.

Plus, be patient with the dock guys, they are being hit with this just like we are. In time it should all get back to the normal flow here for all of us.

i should tell dispatch to keep me away from the upper midwest for my own good. Kwik Trip has some awesome food and sweets and i’m always stopping by one when i get the chance. They’re so much better than the big 3 that it’s sad. Nobody even comes close to the selection that Kwik Trip has

 

That darn donut case is my kryptonite.

 

My only complaint about KT is their showers leave a little to be desired.

 

i’m picking up a loaded trailer from the Menards DC in Eau Claire tomorrow. Which part of the facility do i go to? The place is massive

 

In my year here I’ve only ever gotten loaded trailers out of the east gate.

 

Hwy 12/312 East to Losan Ave, make a left (north) and follow it up to their guard shack. They’ll tell you what here to find it from there.

 

I’ll be coming from the northeast off 29 but i’ll find a way to get to that entrance
