I was an International guy back in the day before the maxxforce debacle. I steered clear of International, but was happy with the truck I'm selling today. I wouldn’t get in a truck with that A26 motor either, but I’m happy with how this Cummins treated me overall.
For the price point you can’t beat it, I looked hard at Freightliner and Volvo, but couldn’t find any low mileage trucks, and if I did they wanted twice of what I’m going to to pay for the International with comparable mileage.
Some people say International is a throwaway truck, maybe. I look at it like this, I buy it a good price point, drive it for four years, get my moneys worth out of it, and repeat.
I was financially qualified for a brand new truck, but I don’t want a $3500+ a month truck payment. That truck owns you, my payment on that used Walmart truck will be under $1400 a month. This is the first International I owned. I wish I had kept that truck, that engine was bulletproof.

Factory warranty for engines, transmission, and drive line components are good for five years or 500K miles. Plus International offers a 90 day bumper to bumper warranty on used trucks.ncmickey, Goody3635, motocross25 and 7 others Thank this. -

Are you going to stay leased on with FCC? They seem to have done pretty good by you over the years.Last edited: Jan 4, 2025

Does FCC lease anything other than Freightliners these days? I’ve seen quite a few leased Kenworths but they mostly seem to be older ones. I’ve seen a lease Volvo and even a Peterbilt as well

Debating about posting my year end numbers in the next few days, but some people think I’m trying to be braggadocious, so we’ll see.Goody3635, DonRobbie, Knucklehead and 5 others Thank this. -
I give FCC credit for that because they want you to be successful in the lease, and as many issues as they’ve had with the Paccar platform they just don’t feel like you can be successful.
Just watched a YouTube video about RBX out of Springfield, Mo. filed chapter 11. The main reason, KW T680s with Paccar and so much downtime. This was straight from the CEOs mouth, it’s on that clown Mutha Truckers news channel. I don’t like that guy, but this was actually a good interview:DonRobbie, Knucklehead, rokue and 4 others Thank this. -
