Fixed this fella while I was doing my drop and hook at the Lincoln drop lot. Whoever put it down missed the concrete with one leg so the left side tires were in the air. The lot there was the fullest I’ve seen it. All loaded too, had to do a snipe hunt for an empty and wound up bobtailing into my shipper.

Long day today, in order to make on time delivery I had to leave Kansas City at 1 AM. From what I saw when I picked it up I knew I was going to have some cleaning to do when I emptied out and I did, also found a surprise.
Generally you aren’t supposed to see daylight through the floor of the trailer.
So that killed a couple hours.
Got to the shipper (broker load) and I noticed the BOL she pulled from my pickup number said it was going to Michigan which is pretty far from Kansas. So we both had to make phone calls.
Fortunately it was sorted out. But by the time I was loaded I was about 14 1/2 hours into the day. Anticipating being tight on hours I had prepaid a parking spot before heading into the shipper so it was nice not having to worry about having a place to lay my head for the night.
Definitely was out of gas about 12 hours in.
Reading the memo and the slides while I was being loaded wasn’t a pick me up. I skimmed them and emailed them to myself so I can look at them on a bigger screen and hopefully be able to make better sense of them.
So I am running to Kansas City. It’s supposed to deliver at 8 Wednesday morning but if I can make it there by 16:00 tomorrow there’s a chance they might take it early. After that I’m schlepping over to Clayton and then going home for a couple days to do a couple doctors appointments.
Truck picked up a new dash emoji and a star in the windshield so I’m heading for the mothership when I come out of the house.Knucklehead, runningman0661 and motocross25 Thank this. -
So the truck pulled 44k up Cajon without blowing the radiator so i’m assuming that it was put back together well. Unfortunately the same can’t be said with the 3-4 trucks i saw on the side of the highway with their hoods open.
I have noticed a couple issues though:
1. Steering wheel is off center quite a bit
2. The clock in the instrument cluster is several hours off
A check engine light also came on a couple days ago that i’ve been politely ignoring since it doesn’t run any different.
Truck runs great like nothing ever happened to it. Now whether that holds up is a different story.
I’m also surprised i haven’t been harassed by scale houses or the highway patrol for having no license plate on the truck. I guess they have better things to dohotrod1653, hope not dumb twucker, Knucklehead and 2 others Thank this. -

I’ve seen the time zone set to something goofy on new Freightliners before so that’s a good first place to look.
