Typical Love’s. Trucks parked everywhere. I have been staying at the one in Sidney, OH a few nights a week lately. By morning, there are trucks everywhere.

 

Im hearing reports of a pileup on I-35 north of Des Moines. I-80 WB between the 168 and 173 is also shut down because of a multi vehicle wreck

 

I’m at home. Wind is still showing 32 and gusting to 47 here.

 

I-80 is closed and impassable in both directions between Des Moines and Avoca/US-59. It’s snowing pretty good here in Davenport but it’s too warm for it to stick to anything but parked trucks and grassy surfaces

I’m gonna go inside and grab some chicken strips for lunch

 

Every time I pick up at this Nestle/BlueTriton/What ever the name is this week water place in Denver, I am amazed it hasn't burned to the ground yet. SUPPOSED to be a drop and hook, and it took them almost an hour to tell me that it's a live load. Then, three separate day cabs have managed to hit a trailer parked across from me, while backing in to the spots to my left and right. I would rather drive in LA or Baltimore than either Dallas or Denver.... which as far as I'm concerned is just Dallas with a mountain view.

 

I told my roommate that i’m probably gonna be one of those people that has a front yard full of junkers one day. But at least i can say all my cars run and drive. 3 of the 4 can also stop

I’m selling my older Lincoln though. That was the one stipulation of buying this car is i sell that one

 

This is exactly why i stopped in Davenport. But apparently these drivers never got the memo. I hope all of them get their licenses revoked. Just a complete lack of common sense

 

Almost every day, I find more justification for my somewhat recently acquired nearly blinding hatred of most truck drivers...

 

I-80 looks to be clear and in good shape. I’ll plan on leaving around 4 am for the CB yard unless something happens between now and then

 

Stopping is way over rated and only decreases your gas milage.
