It’s your fuel. But once it started getting hot out I’d always choose where to stop for the day based on how it was laid out and if I could park away from the sun, or if they had shade of any kind. Or if there was a breeze I’d try and park broadside to it so I could open my bunk windows and turn the truck off. I know I sleep hotter than you, the last one was just an example of choosing parking that benefits you instead of dealing with however the lot is laid out.

After I finally left Chewy I swung over to Baytown to pick up flooring for HD in Topeka. Dropped that Saturday and grabbed a load from Spring Hill going right back down to Houston. At the Costco DC now waiting for a door. Hoping they take awhile so dispatch can get clocked in, sift through emails, and find me a load

Got the same load i did last time. Swinging over to Baytown to take another load of flooring to HD in Topeka. Gonna wait for a bit to let morning rush hour die down though

When I drop in Topeka tomorrow, I'll have a consecutive 3200 mile paycheck

yeah im not sure how guys like you sleep in your terrariums. The other night when I had to bump the idle up to get more than cool air, it had gotten down to almost 60 degrees in the sleeper by the time my alarm went off. Call me insane but that's perfect sleeping temperature

Like I said, it’s your fuel and your emission system. I had 4 bunk windows and screens for the door windows. I’ve never had an APU because based on my habits I couldn’t make it pencil out. Rarely did I ever have to idle all night to run the a/c. Most of the time if I did have to idle it was only until the sun went down.

Our bodies adjust to what we perceive as comfortable. Most of my time spent in Montana involved living in places with no a/c because most houses don’t have it unless they’re new construction. I enjoy camping outside even when it’s hot. Heck I have central air at my house and I leave it at 70 or 72 most of the time. Open the windows in the morning and then close everything up and usually when I’m home it’s mid to late afternoon before the a/c kicks on for the first time.

If you listen to books while you drive I recommend The Comfort Crisis by Michael Easter.

Well the new horse isn’t off to a good start. It’s in the shop getting the interior disassembled . Don’t have any power to the microwave compartment (110 works everywhere else).
