FWIW I usually stay out 3-5 weeks and am home 4-5 days as a company driver. Have been home for a week before.

Just got the truck back from the shop.
Friend Thanks this. -
Picked up 4 roll on units at CWC Nashville this morning. Nice light easy load up to Fort Dodge. I’ll have it there tomorrow morning at first of business for them. (I might let them get their first cup of coffee in before I get there, haven’t decided)

Delivered my Kawasakis this morning in fort dodge, and drove across the road to pick up something from a container place going to Crete.
Got there right before their lunch break and behind 2 trucks.
Dispatch had me split off of the load in Fremont for someone else to pair up with a Crete load, from there I took an empty flat to valley. Destined for Brenham Tx for Thursday.
Somewhere between Valley and York, my ac decided to take a break for the day. While at a red light I shut the truck off and turned it back on again to no avail. Everything looks good under the hood (aka no melted sensors at compressor and belt still attached). Hopefully it works in the morning. Thankfully the apu is free to release cold air for me tonight.Friend, cdavis188, MidWest_MacDaddy and 1 other person Thank this. -

Seems like Kawasaki in Savannah is hit and miss, today got in three hours earlier than my scheduled delivery and very few trucks on site. Bounced over to Richmond Hill, Ga for a Menards load for Shelby, Iowa. I don’t know if this will be a regular run out of here, but new warehouse and easy to get to.

I requested that we add to the instructions that it’s the far end of the warehouse. I was sitting waiting at the wrong door while they returned from their lunch break. Not a big deal and I might remember the next time I’m there.
but ya, nice return run to Shelby.Last edited: Jun 12, 2025 at 7:31 AM
