Car show is in town so I had to break out the ol' Caddy for a drive. I'll be getting the top redone later this year. Then I'll have to save some change to get it repainted Screenshot_20250724_162510_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20250724_162520_Gallery.jpg

Anybody have the explanation of how bonus pay rates are calculated? At half of last quarters, I'm confused.

I believe it’s 4 cents per mile for 30k-31999, 5 for 32k to 33999, and for 34k and up. But it is broken up into several different parts (1 cpm for one thing, one cpm for another, and then 2-4 cpm for mileage goals. I’m hazy on that part but it only matters if something goes wrong (an accident or a service failure or some such).

It is pretty shocking how much the net pay drops off when you go down a tier, 6 cpm feels really good, 5 is alright, and 4 is okay.

Need to update the travel log but right now probably heading to the house to reset. Running to NC and freight is thin so my DM told me to plan on a Monday delivery. So the current plan unless the freight gods smile upon us is I will get home tomorrow and leave early Sunday morning to deliver when the receiver opens Monday. I’m scheduled to be home the end of next week so resetting in NC doesn’t really give me any more usable hours.

Did a drop and hook in Plainfield, headed for Overland Park. I’m going to drop it at ACT, so I was able to get through the house tonight. After the drop, I’m going to swing through Blue Beacon, then live load in KCMO for Bolingbrook Monday morning. Back through the house for a reset!

Five Star at Boonville is a good wash if you don’t want to sit in line at the Beacon. FCC has an account, they might have to call York and verify.

    Pigdude Thanks this.
