Broke down in Four Oaks. Truck is unable to regen. Have the batteries physically disconnected so hopefully that does what the disconnect switch couldn’t.

The KW are the same way. If an element fails, you have to replace the entire bucket.

Easy answer didn’t work, truck is at the dealership in Raleigh, they aren’t optimistic about getting it done before Wednesday, they are hoping to look at it tomorrow.

Spendy aren’t they? I sat a whole day while my company had them chase wiring so they didn’t have to buy one.

I looked into replacing them with standard housings with halogen bulbs

of course it would be too easy if you could just swap them out

a good set of halogen headlights that are aimed correctly more than suffices vs having to blind people. Plus it takes like 2 minutes to change a bulb if one goes out

After my short game of hopscotch on Saturday, made it back to Fremont around 11am. Where I took a long break until this morning when the shop came back in.

Unlucky for me, my truck was due for its 150k mile service. That lasted around 2.5-3hrs. I could’ve asked what all that entailed, but meh.

From the service, got with dispatch to see my next move. Home time is set for Friday so hopefully I get something that works. He asks me if was ok getting home a little bit early or if they need to work to get some things together. I said for him to shake the tree and see what falls out. I just got my 1 year vacation check and 2nd qtr bonus hits bank tomorrow. Not too worried.

Next/current load; Lozier to Scottsboro AL for an intracompany move due for Wednesday 7am. Any one have any pointers for Lozier Scottsboro?

Does anyone know what FCC's starting CPM by experience scale looks like? Or specifically what an 11 year experience driver would start at for long haul OTR?

Is that new? I blew out quite a few bulbs and could replace it with another bulb.
