Coming back to SC to address a few issues on the divorce and was running later than expected so I called and reserved a spot at the local Flying J… I get here and checked in and I’m the second driver waiting on a spot and they are trying to get two drivers to leave their reservation spots.
They finally got one guy to creep out. Not sure where he went but obviously didn’t want to start his clocks.
The other Truck is two foreigners and trying to talk their way into staying in place. They rented the spot yesterday but didn’t leave today and didn’t reserve it a second night. Now there are no spots to sell them.
They were informed that the Sheriff was called but now they are “trying” to say their truck is now broke down. They were told ok so we can call you a tow truck instead of the Sheriff.
So now I guess their company has a tow truck on the way. Or so they say.
Dinner and a Show here.Friend, Knucklehead, DonRobbie and 2 others Thank this. -
Pulling our First Responder trailer that I picked up from Columbia SC. As mentioned above, I sure wish we had more of these themed trailers. I do like pulling this big billboard.

Well, they haven’t made him leave yet but we will see what happens. I guess the “company tow truck” is coming. But who knows.
I might just offer to sell them my spot… how much does a tow truck cost? I might save them some money… cash up front of course… lolFriend, Knucklehead, FullMetalJacket and 2 others Thank this. -
The tow truck would probably get there sooner if the Sheriff’s called one for em same difference right...lolFriend, cdavis188 and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this.

So I opted to just shut down in the fuel lane and get some sleep. Two hours later I get a thumping on the cab. (I was deep asleep too)
So I guess their tow truck never appeared (not shocked) so they ended up calling one to have them removed. (I hear they got short and belligerent with the clerks inside too.)
But, they then refused to get out of the Truck. So the Sheriff was called out to remove them from the Truck so it could be towed.Friend, Goody3635, Knucklehead and 3 others Thank this. -
Oh wait, the best part was… get this… one of the drivers CDL had his name listed as…
“No Name Given”
How the hell does a State issue a Legal ID, let alone a CDL, with “no name given”??? So no one knows who the hell is behind the wheel.
They were trespassed too.Friend, hope not dumb twucker, Knucklehead and 5 others Thank this. -
someone posted an article where a driver had a New York CDL with "No Name Given"Friend, Knucklehead, MidWest_MacDaddy and 2 others Thank this.
