The most infuriating thing about that place is that they had I-70 down to 2 lanes for a couple years between Indy and Ohio... And the first day I drove on it Westbound 3 days after it reopened, I was cussing out the window at every DOT vehicle I saw. There was no discernible difference in the ride, except for crossing a couple of the bridges. Every place where they cut out a slab and repoured concrete was worse.

If I had time to kill I started to run 40. Trying to run 50 or 55 on 70 was still too fast at times.
Cherokee65, hope not dumb twucker, M22 rockcrusher and 1 other person Thank this. -
I24 North coming into KY and for about 70 miles seem to be the same. I wish they would just put up signs saying “All Trucks Left Lane for the Next 75 Miles”Knucklehead, Cherokee65, hope not dumb twucker and 3 others Thank this.

For those on MWR, the EB welcome center outside of Terre Haute has reopened as of a couple weeks ago. Plenty of parking and separate bathrooms for drivers so we don't have to make the trek to the main building
Cherokee65, Woobie, hotrod1653 and 5 others Thank this. -
I was stoked to see it open! The main building has Indy 500 displays that are worth checking out! On the other hand, the curve getting out of there needs respect. Our non domiciled brethren are going to wipe out the inside wall, and the interior separation ditch with a quickness. Call me names. I’ll just watch it happen.mitrucker, Cherokee65, Woobie and 3 others Thank this.

Plenty of homegrown fools will be there to assist in the demolition derby.Cherokee65, Pigdude and cdavis188 Thank this.

Cherokee65 Thanks this. -
You’re not wrong. I’m taking the low hanging fruit first. Let’s just all retest every three years when our renewal comes up. That’ll level everything out. My skills are tight and I have no worries.Cherokee65 Thanks this.
