FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Im on the sw fleet so i only deal with those 3 plus lincoln, tulsa, and dallas drop yards.

 

I did my drug test and physical yesterday they just called me about an hour ago saying that they got the results back and I’m good to go. He’s gonna work on me hitching a ride up to Fremont tomorrow and I think I meet some people do a road test and some stuff and then snag a day cab up there and come back to KC and start shagging Thursday officially. I did all my orientation stuff online so it be perfectly honest I’m not sure what I’ll be doing in Fremont, but that’s the rough outline so far. I’ll update when he calls back and gives me the skinny.

 

Ok truckerim. I appreciate it, are you allowed to stay overnight at them ? Is it locked at night?

 

Fell out of a moving (or perhaps mooooving) trailer. Driver apparently just kept going.

Meetin a driver at the drop yard tomorrow, heading to Fremont with him then reporting to the office and getting a company car to take to the hotel. Thursday report back at 7 am for some orientation stuff and then they said I can either go back Thursday night or stay at the hotel again and leave Friday morning whatever I feel like doing. So we shall see. I do know one thing everyone I’ve talked to during this hiring process is about the most down to earth non-jerk of a person as the next. So let’s hope this holds up.

 

They are all gated as far as i know. I stay at the kc & dallas yards overnight if im in the area. I dont know about lincoln. I didnt even know we had a tulsa yard til last may and i live 45 miles from there. Last wk i bobtailed over there to grab an mt and its at a different bigger location. Should be able to stay overnight there.

 

What can I say, I might have a future as a used car salesman.
