Actually Brian was in position to take Ann’s place in safety after several years of waiting, and he left to “pursue other options”. Scott in recruiting left to go back to Aviation his first love.

Mine too. There is nothing like flying through clouds in an open door Huey.

Always thought it would be fun to learn to fly. But never had the money for such a hobby until recently. Now I don’t have the time for such a hobby. LOL

So ya, about the “Mass Exodus”

I’m hearing mostly what’s mentioned above. Anne retired, another lady semi retired and is working night dispatch on the weekends, another had an opportunity to work with their kid, and someone opted for a work from home opportunity.

so ya, not so much an exodus than a couple retirements and a couple opportunities popping up at the same time, combine that with the then internal shifting to fill those spots, and suddenly we have “eight vacancies” when it’s not really a mass leaving getting out of dodge event at all.

one of the more favorable things about FCC, well I my opinion, is just how long people stay here. Both in the office and in the trucks.

we all know if you talk to other folks or read other threads here, so many places having 8 positions shifting around would just be an average month at ABC Trucking. But here, if/when it happens every ten years, it’s a huge turnover.

so ya, crisis avoided, let’s drive

Clouds....? Rarely went through clouds in all my time in Hueys, Blackhawks, and Chinooks. We were usually low enough to smell the grass when someone was mowing.
