I had one like that last week at a Sysco in Memphis. The company didn't even blink, just sent the money code. Today's unload was only $175 for 42,000 lbs of carrots. I had to look twice to make sure there wasn't a mistake and I got someone elses unload amount message.

One of the highest I remember was like $600 for bottled water at McLane in Denver years ago. I asked them why so much and they said they had to shave a bunch of layers down and sort it. When I got the bills back they accidentally left the lumpers break down sheet in with my bills; it was a straight pull. It’s a racket but I guess it is what it is. I’m glad it’s not my money.

Ok, you win. Comparing a metro construction project to a rural route is apples to oranges. I know when you leave KS running south on I-35 Ray Charles can tell you exactly where the state line is. I won't even mention their bang up job of ice and snow removal or the lovely US69 corridor.

Yes, and by the same token, on US69, you can tell where Texas is, almost by feel. Every state has some ####ty roads. US69 in Texas around Sherman and Denison can rearrange your sleeper. I-55 North of Memphis will make you cuss the whole way.

As far as the "apples and Oranges thing" I guess. In the city, dealing with traffic buzzing THROUGH the workzone, it is a pain in the ###. Out in the middle of nowhere, with the highway CLOSED, there is no traffic flow to consider, I haven't seen a good reason why this project isnt finished yet. Or for that matter, US69 South of Fort Scott. That has been ongoing for about 5 years now.

i will grant one point that someone has made in the past. Becco... they do absolute dog #### work. Every project I have ever seen them do, gets redone within a couple years.

Load assignment getting out of California 1,557 miles making delivery into Columbus,NE
My load for the first time going home straight was waiting for me at Fremont! I was super surprised and happy because it’s delivery was 5 minutes away from my house! Thank you FCC !!!:)

Woke up the next morning and Travis said he wanted to service my truck before I left.
When I got my truck back ....
    #1- Truck service was done.
#2- All drive tires where new!
#3- Hopefully the last Stubborn electrical Gremlin is gone.
FCC maintenance / service program... Travis, Mechanics, etc are all outstanding!;) You are all the best!!!

After the dedicated run and a week of transition back onto my old lanes, it feels good to actually run out a full 11 for a change.

Ran down to Ellabell and then up the coast to Sumter heading back to Indy now. I assume grab a load heading back to Omaha fri/sat and then a 34.

    Stay Safe

Today makes 3 times in the past week or so I have attempted to deliver a CocaCola load only to be told CocaCola didn’t make an appointment. Now admittedly it’s been forever since I’ve done van freight, but shouldn’t FCC be scheduling the appointments? How would Coke know when or what the plan is to get it from Point A to B? Anyway, how’s everyone else doing?
