Agreed.... I have taken US 89 up through four corners, then US160 to CO 10 several times to get away from the stupidity on I-40 several times. Never a peep. The only thing I have ever heard is that my dispatcher dude asked if I got any good pictures.

@cdavis188 … If your preferred route differs from the planned route enough to impact your provided fuel solution, just reach out to your DM before you start the run and they can adjust the fuel solution to your preferred route. But best to do so before you start the run.

Anything noteworthy come out of the safety meeting today?

I’m on a load from Lincoln to Four Oaks for Monday. They don’t have me preplanned, so I will swing by the house tomorrow and watch the game with the family and roll out Monday morning.

    ncmickey and IH9300SBA Thank this.

Mike hooked me up with a ride to Fremont. Apparently the driver that's taking me also lives here in Salina. Small world I guess. I have a few things to finish up at home but I should be in Fremont around 5 this evening.

P.S. If the song for the wicked witch of the west starts playing the closer any of you get to Fremont, it isn't me. :D:D:D just saying

Dropped in Four Oaks about 1000 this morning, in route I get a preplan. Go back to Apex tool in Burlington and pick up a load going to Topeka. Last week on this load it was loaded front to back with no room to spare on the trailer, and heavy. Today I back into the dock, they immediately drop the ramp, hit me twice and the dock guys yelling to come in and sign my bills. Two whole pallets weighing all of 2500 lbs, going to Topeka. This should bump up my mpg average for the week.

I dropped one in Lincoln yesterday from Fort Dodge. I skipped my last fuel stop on the previous load because I had picked up there before. Went in with between 5/8 and 3/4 fuel. My gross was 79960 and I was able to get my drives at 33980...there was about 46300 in the box.
