He should've checked it before he pulled off. I always check mine.

Don’t know all the details, they just sent out a fleet wide message, basically saying respect your fellow drivers.

One of my pet peeve’s is people thinking it’s okay to take a 30 minute break on the fuel island.

Any time I exit the truck for any reason I lean down and check my fifth wheel before climbing back in the cab. Takes two seconds, and saves you from the crank of shame, or worse yet calling a tow truck.

Left Salina early yesterday afternoon and stopped at the Wally World in Liberal. Woke up this morning and started shortly before 0500 and just made it to some One 9 stop near Holbrook, AZ. I probably could've made it to the J in Winslow as I still had time, but I felt like 620 miles in just under 10 hours was good time.

Will probably start around the same time tomorrow and hopefully drop this load in Victorville around noon PST or shortly thereafter. I was looking at truck stops around the area and saw a Pilot in Hesperia. But seen as that seems to be the last stop of any kind before you go over Cajon Pass, and it'll probably be a #### show because it's Sunday and the last truck stop before LA, I'll probably bite the bullet and backtrack up to Barstow.

I've gotten a lot more used to this manual now. Only the occasional grinding. I still want an auto though. Much less stress to drive.

If you stop there fairly early it’s not bad at all. It’s my usual stop in that area unless I stop at the Wagon Wheel in Needles, or at the Morongo Nation Casino on I-10. The food at the outpost cafe across from the pilot is pretty good too. I usually get there between noon and 1400 or so. Can usually get a spot right up front at that time of day.

    Literal children in this industry.

Randomly woke up a little after 1:30 this morning and decided to start my day. Guy comes up to me while I'm outside checking out the engine bay and asks if he could have my spot when I leave. I said sure. Brown Volvo rolls up and that driver and the guy i talked to proceeded to argue for the next 5 or so minutes about who was entitled to my spot. I told them that once I left, the spot was fair game as far as I was concerned. I finished my pretrip and left.

Grown men acting like children fighting over who gets to do something first. Just find a place to park and sleep or whatever. It's too early in the morning to deal with that crap.

    Unreal
