What did you get after getting empty?

Picking up at Windspeed Logistics in Baltimore (that took me longer than it should have to find) going to a Menards in Shell Rock, IA. My recap hours may be a problem to deliver on Wednesday, and I'm supposed to be home Thursday. However if I don't get home on time it's not the end of the world. I don't really have anything planned for the weekend.

Good deal, all the ask here is that you keep them updated on an eta. Menards are a drop anyway, so there’s flexibility on deliveries.

That was where I picked up last time I ran out that way. Easy enough to find, but that yard kinda sucks... no real indication of where to go. Thank God for Google.

I actually assumed another place at the same location was where I was supposed to load and wasted almost an hour waiting there until I figured out that wasn't where I was supposed to be.

Did they give you a seal? They didn't give me one so I tossed an FCC seal on it and noted it on the BOL.

No seal. There are quite a few places like that.

Shell RRockis in the middle of nowhere, but it's a nice easy D&H, if need be you can park overnight there too. There's a staging area just before the entrance they let drivers park there. I stayed there once, quite nights sleep anyway

Man freight has been screwed up on the SWR fleet lately. Delivered in Sioux Falls SD today, taking a 10 here, can't roll out till 22:30 tonight. Was hoping for a nice NM load outta Sioux City from here, but I wake up from a nap and check my messages, nothing in the area, deadhead all the way down to the CB yard to get on to drag to Crete to go to TX. Oh well, at least they keep me moving

    cdavis188 and runningman0661 Thank this.

Did some math. From when I got dispatched on my first load on February 15th, to when I drop this one tomorrow, I will have run 6,109 paid miles. Not too bad considering it's my first two weeks with the company.

Made better time than I expected and made it to the Petro near Toledo with time to spare on my 70. Will drop this load tomorrow in Shell Rock, IA and pick up another Menards load there going to Valley, NE for a drop on Thursday as soon as my recaps allow, then going home for a 3 day weekend.
