This company is pretty conservative on tires. If they are even borderline questionable, they will just pull them.

M22 rockcrusher and cdavis188 Thank this.

Left home this morning and made it to the Flying J in Ardmore, OK. I deliver this load tomorrow morning in Garland, TX, then head over to American Wood Fibers in Marshall for an 11 am appointment, going up to Sioux City. No direct interstate route until I get to the Omaha area so looks like I'll be playing on a lot of US routes and state highways.

That's a good load, send your eta asap, if you're early with it they'll usually let you drop it at Sioux Honey, or split it off in CB. If you do deliver they are quick though

Some of the most fun and interesting drives have been on mid west US highways…. I miss that. I am mostly east of the Mississippi now… till they need a Solo to run to California…

Last time I was there with FCC it was sunny and 50°F. The lift truck driver looked like he was heading off on a Siberian vacation, Carhartt bibs, coat, gloves and stocking hat, I was in shorts and a long sleeve shirt. We looked at one another and laughed....I explained this was perfect fat boy weather.

Checked in a little before 7, backed in and dock plate lowered, and I was given my papers 5 minutes ago. I never had that when pulling reefer freight. It was more like 3 hours at places, not 30 minutes.

I run US and State Highways as a matter of routine. I hate running 80 across Iowa, 70 across Missouri, and I-40 across New Mexico and Arizona. If I have the time, I will route around them. The bit of extra time is offset by the lower blood pressure.

    Well, Spring is here.

Just ran my Truck through a Flock, Herd, and/or Cloud of Flying Critters.

Just got inspected by the friendly folks down in Texas. Passed my level 2 inspection with no violations. Do I contact my DM or someone in safety about it?

IH9300SBA, Vic Firth and BigR Thank this.
