I stayed the night at Siebert CO, woke up and there was ice all over my truck and everyone on 70 was doin like 25 mph with their flashers on. I filed that under “#### that” and went back to bed til the sun came up. Even then it was a little bit past Limon before I started spraying water off my tires. That fog set in fast and it was slickery.

I stayed the night at the Wally World in Colby, KS and the whole parking lot was a skating rink in the morning. One would've had no issues jack knifing a truck at 5 mph on it.

Pulled into the Petro near Kingman, AZ for food, fuel, and a break. Haven't decided whether to stop in Barstow and get a shower or not. Regardless, I drop this load in Victorville later today, then pick up a preloaded trailer in Moreno Valley headed back to Grand Island for Wednesday. Have to get a reset somewhere along the way, but don't know exactly where or which way I want to take back east.

@cdavis188 We have a calendar that comes out every year with driver submitted photos, that’s a winner.

Ok, so how’s your day going?

    Mine? Well…

Leaving our Pet Food customer in Columbia SC today and all was normal just a bit slow. Ok, VERY slow!!!

I slide into line behind CFI to patiently await my turn. (Sign says to wait here until scale clears)

Then Swift pulls around both of us to jump the line. (Like WTF, but it’s Shift right?) Comment on the CB but no one replies.

So Swift clears the scale and CFI pulls up. Then Crete pulls around me to jump the line TOO! (Come on Crete, we expect it of Swift but Crete???) Vent on the CB but no one has anything on.

Then, as I’m waiting for Crete to clear, a BT Ryder starts around me. I flag him down and he stops. Hey buddy, line forms here. “I’m BT” is the reply I get. Don’t care, get in line. Nope, pulls right away from me to jump the line too.

So at this point I too pull up and get out and say it “a bit louder and slower” as English was his second language. He just points to the guard shack like “take it up with them” (only one person in the shack which was why everything was going soooo sloooow)

I pull up and open my door to show her I’m empty and asked, a bit frustrated, why they allow the line jumpers? “We can’t stop them and I’m not putting my body in front of them” was the reply.

I will be avoiding everyone the rest of the day as I’m in no mood to have assault charges pressed on me today.

    Stay Safe
