These people obviously have never pulled a rock bucket. That #### wouldn’t fly at a quarry. The best thing you can do for your dental health, is not line jump at a rock quarry.

Riiiiiight. I used to pull an end dump... I have seen dump drivers do some of the dumbest BS every day coming in and out of APAC, and Anchor in Tulsa. Folks that are being paid by the hour racing up and down 169 to be one more place ahead in line to load, cutting folks off to dump their haul off trash faster, you name it.

Oh yea I agree 100%. Getting to and from the quarry it’s every man for himself for sure and it’s Mad Max. But sitting in front of the scale like @MidWest_MacDaddy and having guys cut around like that all hell would break loose. The office had to come out at the salt mine last month because guys forgot who they were behind in line and it about came to blows.

I never understood that. I could ALMOST maybe, if the ones I saw were paid by the load, but the worst offenders were usually hourly. I didn't do ANYTHING faster than I had to when I was hourly.

    Speedy356 and motocross25 Thank this.

It wouldn't last long at any of our pits either. Even the drivers to whom English is clearly not their first language know that. The one phrase they all understand is "we will sign you out".

    motocross25 and dwells40 Thank this.

Made it to Williams, AZ, deliver in San Bernardino tomorrow night (grocery DC) ugh. When I get empty tomorrow night I will run over to Carson, grab a preloaded loaded trailer going back to Nebraska. My goal is to be sitting in Barstow before the Monday morning rat race starts in the LA basin.

I probably passed you somewhere on I-40 going the other direction. I'm in Winslow, AZ for my 10.

Man this ####ty excuse for what Arizona calls an interstate is doing a number on my truck. I'm having a message pop up ever since I hit a particularly bad spot outside of Kingman that apparently some of my stability controls on the truck aren't working. Something probably got banged out of alignment.

I've pretty much given up trying to miss all the potholes. If I see a particularly nasty one I'll try to avoid it but sometimes I can't. New Mexico isn't much better.
