My truck does 72 on the pedal. Idiots like that, I hammer down for a couple minutes, problem solved.

Change of plans. After dropping in Four Oaks tomorrow, I will backtrack to Apex Tool in Burlington to pick up a load going to Home Depot in Topeka.

Parked for the day in Mount Airy, NC. It's raining outside but that won't stop me from going in and getting their lasagna.

    BigR Thanks this.

Apex tool will load you before your appointment. Sometimes it’s a heavy load, but last time I was there it was 4 pallets.

It’s a new “feature” of the system. Came online a week ago. Triggers a warning if a truck is parked on a ramp for more than 10 minutes.

    BigR Thanks this.

I tap my brakes and let them around. They will get around me eventually and no need to have two truck blocking traffic. Kind of like holding the door for someone at a Truck Stop. It might slow me down a second or two but flows better.

Dropped my Four oaks load yesterday afternoon, currently sitting at the house. Didn’t plan on being home this week, but had a situation pop up at the house I need to address. As always FCC had no issues with it, I will roll out Monday morning.

How does the camera system know that you're parked on a ramp though? As I stated before, there's no signage on a lot of ramps that indicates you can't park there, or any signs at all really, at least in my state.

trucknguy, RebelChick and BigR Thank this.

There's an accelerometer built into the camera, it can tell when you're sitting on an incline or decline.

I assume it’s like facial recognition… it can just tell by the camera image. Either way… it does know… does report… and they are following up about the issue.

Heading to Four Oaks today and tomorrow… 34 on Sunday and drop Monday morning. Maybe drop Saturday if I can get there in time. Not many options in Four Oaks area for a 34 so I might be adjusting that plan on the fly.

    stay safe
    (And off the ramps… lol)

    BigR and runningman0661 Thank this.
