FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Got out of Long Beach fine at 1 in the afternoon went back to the J in Barstow. Nicest Flying J in the land! Took that load to S Sioux City for a live unload and got a two hour nap out of the deal which I was glad of. Bounced to S Sioux City for another Cali destination but dropped at the CB yard and got my grease maintenance done and spent the night there. Got a Four Oaks load toward home but not supposed to be there until Friday, but will drop on Monday. Spending the night at Farmer City Rest Area in Illinois.

 

Huh well I’ll be dang. I guess it must be a parameter the company sets then.

Got another load out of the ACT yard heading to Victorville that I will pick up tomorrow morning. Gonna shake things up with this route. Gonna take I-70 as usual but break south in western Kansas and eventually drop down to southern CO to run 160 all the way across, and then down 89 to Flagstaff. Distance wise it's more or less the same. Time wise just a little bit more.

When I was 10 or 11 I was supposed to go to Durango, CO, but that road trip didn't pan out. I've heard southern CO is really pretty and I want to experience it first hand.
