I miss the days when Bruce Williams was on XM. I used to listen to him and Neal Boortz in Tulsa on 740 when I worked nights as a Security Guard.

I had 3 different KW’s at FCC. All had the Paccar motor which seemed pretty good. I just got handed the keys to a Pete with the Cummins X-15 and I’m impressed. I’ve been driving Detroits and Cats most of my career, this thing pulls.

If you dont mind mountain driving on narrow 2 lane roads... instead of taking the most likely "suggested" route of I-84 to US97... Try US 12 from Napavine, WA to Yakima. It may or may not be a bit slower depending on RV traffic, but the views are DEFINITELY worth it. For an added bonus, there is a waterfall just East of White Pass. Just past Dog Lake, there are signs for "Clear Creek Falls". It's worth a stop. I think this route may be about 30 miles or so longer, but I haven't really looked at the difference. I run it all the time to avoid going anywhere near Tacoma if I am picking up or delivering South of the Seattle/Tacoma area.

The PACCAR is just OK.... I would never own one, but it seems to be more reliable overall than the T680 itself. As long as you regard the engine as it's own item, separate from the aftertreatment.

I've never had a paccar that didn't consume coolant and oil though. I really like the x15.

I've only had experience with Cascadia's, all with a DD13/15.

There's not much to say about them. These Detroit Diesel's are workhorses. I'm pretty sure there's still a fair amount of trucks with older series 60 Detroit's. May not be the most powerful engines but they get the job done.

My trainer at Magnum had a 2021 579 with a Paccar motor. I was less than impressed. That #### thing was a boat anchor. And that's just the motor. 579's aren't exactly renowned for their build quality.

Watch out. Biden is going to say those radio waves bouncing off the ionosphere is going to thin out the ionosphere and they'll either have to stop broadcasting or tax the help out of them.
