I'd have to say I agree, my Detroit in this Cascadia hates mountains, but that's probably more to do with the gear ratio and how they spec'd it as a company truck. But I don't do much mountain driving anymore anyways. Besides that this thing is durable and gets great fuel mileage. In 437k miles I've never added any oil between changes, no complaints here, she's been a good business partner

First time since I started trucking that I had to go in to start the pumps. TA app wouldn't work and the diesel pump reader didn't like my fuel card. Felt like an idiot walking away from my truck while it was parked in the fuel island.

Finishing up a reset in CB, had 8 new drive tires put on today. I run centramatics on my steers, I decided to try the balance beads in my drives. We’ll see how those work out.

Tomorrow I will go over to Aurora and pick up a preloaded trailer going down to Columbia, Sc for a Thursday drop. Then head to the house for a long Memorial Day weekend.

Where did you get your tires? I'm gonna need to replace my drives in another 10-12k probably

WBAP in Ft Worth had Bill Mack, the Midnite Cowboy, for many years before XM radio came along. Could hear him for miles.

Lots of AM and XM chat here lately. I used to occasionally listen to Coast to Coast when I was younger we’ll before driving OTR. I have a few XM channels preset but not liking the scroll one at a time to find something I want to listen to.

What XM channels do y’all like to listen to? I have a few news talk preloaded like Fox, Patriot, BBC, etc.

Kind of wish the subscription came with the App for Streaming as I think that would better fit me personally but I’ll gladly take whatever for free.

Yeah, I used their discount on my steers, got them at Love's, saved quite a bit, not sure if the discount is the same across the board or more or less at certain shops?
