Rolled out the house Monday for. 1500 PU in Savannah heading to Appleton WI this morning then grabbed a load of paper product heading to Lincoln tomorrow morning. No preplan yet but I’m sure they will find me something heading out again. Probably either a Kawasaki or BD load heading south or east.

Pulled into the Iowa welcome center on I-35NB and some ####### pulling an Amazon trailer waited at a stop sign then decided to pull right out in front of me at the last second. Thankfully I had already slowed down to 25 mph. I laid on my air horn for a good 10 seconds.

I swear Amazon Prime contractors are some of the worst on the road. They should have their licenses revoked.

 

Frankly i think they have taken the #1 spot as worst drivers…if not tied with chicago crowd..

 

I’m noticing drivers overall getting worse, not paying attention where they’re going, being in the wrong lane, driving way under the speed limit. I was heading west on 70, going thru downtown Columbus, Ohio yesterday. It’s a mess with construction. Had a mini van decide at the last second he wanted to go 71S . He stopped right in front of me, for someone to let him over.

 

Agreed, I never thought anyone would overtake the FedEx contractors but they've done it!

Talked at length with Tim today about what I needed for home time and where I like to run and decided long haul is a better fit for me so I'll be running Nebraska east as far as jersey and the southeast.
My truck is back in the shop due to a little miscommunication on where I wanted some of the lettering and a minor boo boo installing the qaulcom ...they were cool about taking care of it .

You should try driving on 69 between Flint, MI and the Canadian border. Between Haji and the other Canadian transplants…….
