Speaking of truck washes, I picked up in Broken Bow this morning, I will be dropping it n Fremont. As I’m headed down Hwy 2 I start seeing a trail of what I initially thought was sand or dirt in the middle of the lane for about a mile. I eventually see a guy pulling a walking floor trailer on the shoulder. He forgot to close the latch on the back of his trailer. So when I stop in York to take me break and do a post trip I smell a strange smell. I have corn mash all over my truck and trailer. It smells like a brewery, so needless to say I got a truck wash to try and get the majority of that sticky stuff off the truck.

Another surprise I had this morning just outside of North Platte, my check engine light popped up. I checked the code and it’s showing a bad outlet Nox sensor. I swung by the International dealer in Grand Island and picked one up. The Fremont shop will install it tomorrow. I’m also due for my 90 day DOT inspection, so I’ll knock that out as well.

Double R Bar sounds like a good place to grab a beer.

Some totally unsolicited advice: check the legality of “leased to” on the side of your truck. I know a couple of o/o had to change their stickers to “operated by” after getting hassled at a scale.
390.21(b)(3) If the name of any person other than the operating carrier appears on the CMV, the name of the operating carrier must be followed by the information required by paragraphs (b)(1) and (2) of this section, and be preceded by the words “operated by.”

Dropped my load of pallets in the CB yard and bobtailed to Wally World for some food. After stuffing my face, I'll bobtail to the yard in Lincoln to grab a trailer going to Denton, TX.

I've been inspected twice with that on it and nobody batted an eye. But I imagine if a DOT officer is that anal their gonna get ya on something anyway. If seen plenty of trucks out there that say "leased to" hell, maybe we're all doing it wrong lol. Until DOT says something I'm not changing anything
