As a Kansas resident I can confirm this. It's also the Ar-Kansas river here.

Also when I lived near Sault Ste Marie in Michigan, Sault is pronounced Soo. If you pronounce it as salt, you will get some unwelcome attention. Also it's Mack-i-naw, not Mack-i-nack

Considering I got a preplan with a short haul load from Gatorade in Edgerton, KS to Lincoln, yes we are.

Had a few of those loads. Takes forever to load and unload but dang they pack it full and to the brim.

Whatever it takes in the short term to keep the wheels rolling. Just don’t want to hear about any new division under development… LOL

Dallas area to kc then north is pretty common on this fleet. Sometimes straight back from kc, hate those, but at the end of the week the miles still work out

Anyone ever had this happen? Handle broke and a bunch of rust fell out. It is one of our older trailers. Manufactured in 2013. The load I took up here was on an even older trailer, a 39xx one.

Stuck here at shipper until breakdown sends a truck to put a new handle one. 20230711_155310.jpg

Not at FCC, but yeah I've had it happen. If there's a yard dog, you can have him get under and raise it, then you can grab the center part underneath with both hands, turn enough to lower the nose so your truck will take all the weight off, then get back under and roll the rest of the way up. It sucks and your forearms will be sore, but you could at least get outta there and take it to a shop and not wait on a truck. If you're in NE I'm sure they'd let ya drop it on the yard and grab something else
