Another settlement period proves I made to right move to FCC from Morehouse, working no harder here than at Morehouse with much less stress, bad tudes , dock time , bs from a toxic shop and greedy owners that pinch a penny till the eagle screams and craps green.
I used to proudly fly the Morehouse flag until now and at this point rough math shows an extra 3000.00 a month in my pocket and I don't work very hard ....thank you Brad Morehouse for getting ugly with me and showing your ### .

Pulled into the last turnpike service station before Wichita with 1 minute left on my drive clock.

I will drop this load in New Braunfels, TX tomorrow. Not sure what I'll get afterwards to take through the house.

 

Enjoy the heat. I left Denton yesterday afternoon and it was blazing.

 

I am good JC! Enjoying the job, the lifestyle, and FCC as much as I ever have. Looking more long-term here than I ever have. They tell me the oldest active driver at FCC is 82. Now I don't know that I challenge that longevity, but looking forward to the next several years. Holding out for the satellite TV that comes at the eight year Mark, so three more years to go. I don't post as much because I am usually running the same customers so I don't have much new to share. I do like knowing what to expect and establishing a rapport with said customers though I wouldn't mind some variety like you say and I get it every now and then. The trip out to Grandview WA was pretty cool. The trip to Dallas from there, not so much but the miles were great (2k). Second largest trip for me since I have been at FCC. Elizabethtown NC to Anaheim was the best, a few years back. Still happy that you recruited me here 5 years ago!

 

Humm... on a weekend my guess would be pactiv in Temple going to Olathe or bounce down to Baytown, that would go to KC.

 

Pallets in San Antonio is a possibility too
