FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

My trainer at Magnum had a 579 and I don't remember feeling uncomfortable while driving that truck.

 

I would talk to mgt and let them know your situation..im sure they would work with you to accommodate you…

 

I literally just got off the phone with them about it.

 

I called Mike in recruiting and told him my concerns. He said he had both a T680 and a 579 that I could try out to see if they fit me better. The T680 is a condo and 579 is a midroof. As much as I want a condo that's not my main concern though. If the 579 is more comfortable to sit in than the Kenworth, then I'll live with a midroof.

I call him Uncle Scotty, lol. He hates that. We worked together at M. Bruenger out of Wichita years ago. He’s a good guy.

 

Yeah it's enough room but nothing extra , I test drove a t680 at Morehouse didn't like that set up at all.

 

If you get a 579 I hope it has airbags on the front axel I have one and it rides ruff. I'm only 6ft and always hitting my head on the arch going into the sleeper.
