Are you here too? I saw that pretty blue truck but I didn’t want to knock on the door and wake BZ up… so I pissed on a tire and came inside.

    Well, here’s my week…

My truck has had a personality disorder since day one. Literally day one. Hopped in the truck and before I get Omaha I lost power. It was still pulling but just half hearted. I pulled over and turned the truck off and restarted and it was fine. Returned to Fremont but they couldn’t find something that was now working fine. (Of course)

So occasionally it has done that. Won’t pull but not coasting either. Pull over, turn it off, wait, turn it back on, and roll out.

Saturday it had a full mental breakdown. Pulling fine, then not, then fine, then not. Finally it just wouldn’t “come out if it” at all.

Called Breakdown (awesome guys) and explained. Shane had me take it to Loves to replace the Fuel Filters on Sunday but Monday it was still doing the same thing.

So they routed me back to the Mother Ship with thankfully a 10k load to Joliet but then a 45k from Jefferson.

So since Monday I’ve been driving anywhere from 30-40-60 on the road and down to 5-20 when climbing a hill. (Yea, 5 on a hill in Iowa) it’s got other things acting up too. No cruise, brake lights always on (found that out today) 2nd air loss when engine is off, backing is rough.

Made a few new friend along the way… lol

At CB now and they are checking a specific air leak point. If it’s not that, I’m heading to the Dealership in the morning. :-(

Well I was going to buy a round if you were around. Guess it’s your turn next time.

… and no clue who pissed on those pretty caps.

My Pete has center caps on all wheels. Most of the other FCC Peterbilt's I've seen don't. I don't know if they were a factory option or if another driver before me put them on. Or if all the others have been lost.
