i could care less.....
first, it over there in Commifornia, and "they should fear", falling off the planet and into the ocean, which i sincerely hope is next week
second, the wife and i are too darned old to GAF about amusement parks that charge 27 years of your salary just to enter, food, soft drinks, not included.
third, all our kids are grown, they have kids, and those kids have kids, and THOSE kids have kids.......so ALL my family are on thier own to be "amused" at some sweat shop park, with jackwagons in costumes running around waving at them.
forth.......did i say the wife and i....don't GAF...????Walk Among Us Thanks this. -

It’s like anything else trends change. Young people these days would rather have their face in a iPhone Or in a video game, then going out to amusement parks. It just doesn’t thrill them in the same way it did when we were younger. Virtual reality will be the next craze.

I’ve been to the MD one a total of once and it was called Wild World then.
I don’t like the area it’s in.buddyd157 and Deere hunter Thank this. -
We went to the Great America park many years ago and it was a lot of fun. But it's on the edge of the Silicon Valley tech hub and the land values are through the roof. No way this park will stay open.

I thought it over a few days.i don’t see the fear in a park closing.
We have a bunch of parks here in town, and cops that think they know the law..
I sat in the park before it got to hot, eating a sandwich from McDonald’s, law showed up asking what I was doing.
Told him. He said I could not be there.
I told him public property, he tried to say the school owned it.
I told him it was impossible, I went to high school there and if you crossed that street you were considered awol.
Besides, I know the ground was donated to the city by the former owner when he died for use as a city park, only, and if they breech that the contract was null and void.
Besides, I pay ‘city beautification tax every year of $50 for this said park, and if the school owned it, we need to see about a class action fit every resident and see where out $50/person is going.
I got to finish my meal, I no longer opt to pay for our city parks that are ineligible to use.
But I don’t fear of losing them, I could care less anymore about parks.
