Don’t know if this really counts but when I was about 22 years old working in a restaurant there was a gay waiter there. Had nothing against the guy but he came in one day and approached me and said “I watched a porn movie last night and there was a Guy in there who looked just like you, but I knew it wasn’t you because you wouldn’t be performing the role that he was now would you?”. After processing this for a few minutes, I walked out into the dining room that was packed full of guests and told him but if you ever said anything to me like that again I was going to throw him right through the window out onto the street. Lol keep in mind it was 22. I wasn’t quite past my fighting years. Anyhow of course the owners got wind of this and the next day they put up a bulletin that everyone had to sign on sexual-harassment. Now this was back in the early 90s. The guy didn’t lose his job but in today’s world he probably would have. I didn’t report the guy, I just threatened him. That’s how I handle things back then. Rightfully so in my opinion.

My point earlier on this thread was that of course sexual-harassment does happen. Women have a bigger challenge navigating the work environment than men do. Just based on their sex. But at the same time all the woman has to do is make an accusation even if she’s using it as a weapon and you’re pretty much defenseless against it.

When I worked DC side they processed dozens of sexual harassment claims annually. Not one of them was filed by a man about a man. It was filed by a rival coworker about a woman or from the woman about herself. In university it was the same. I was an instructor (computer assisted solutions methods of engineering problems) and had special training on the subject.

Gotta be honest here, I'm not impressed. Internet resumes are nice, I guess, but that's all they are. I think you have a point you want to make...ok, you've done that but you didn't really address Roger's point...the one you went out of your way to quote and you didn't give me the statistics you say you have.

    Roger's point still stands.

Ladies, if you want a solid trainer then look at the condition of the trainer and the interior of the truck when you first climb in. Sloppiness is a sign of someone who is unprofessional. Also, do not assume a woman trainer won't hit on you.

Trust me, #### are more likely to report you than a straight woman, and they whine louder till they get their way to.

I would take my chances on training women anyday, over them.

If you are consenting to train women with men, you can hire a female trainer. However, if you are hiring a male trainer, you need to be specific at the time of appointment and also make it written in the offer letter that he will behave well with the female trainees. You can take legal advice from an experienced sexual harassment lawyer like Cummings & Franck, P.C. to help you with this issue.
