i dont know if anyone has heard of this but was told by a recruiter today that even though im a recent CDL grad that i have to take the 3000$ advanced driver program and sign a 1 year contract. Is that true or are they just being stupid. Dosent say anything about that on there web site. Any Info will be helpful.

Hmmm, that does sound weird. Im a recent CDL grad too, none of the companies I talked to said anything about an "advanced driver program", or a contract.
What type of CDL course did you take? Sometimes the companies want the industry standard 160 hour certified course. -
You probably waited too long after you graduated from driving school. You have to have a driving job within one month of when you graduate or they will make you take a refresher course. A new driver isn't going to remember how to shift or back up a month after not doing anything after school.
That was an expensive vacation you took if that's the case!

It's true. They will send you back through and learn their way. For inexperienced drivers and those that have been away from driving for extended period. Nothing is held from your paycheck during the year and nothing owed at the end of the year.
I was told the same thing you were...right out of school. Yours would be a few days shorter however since you have the CDL. -
has anyone done that program before. if so can i get some feed back

Some here that have gone through the program.
