Some things in this industry will never change and that's quilty till proven innocent.I was accused of the same thing when I drove for KB.A ##### who was coming to work she worked in receiveing at Tyson call KB said I hit her as I was going out and she was coming in.Two drivers was on my side.I told lazy safety to come out and look at my trailer there's one one mark proving I hit her of course safety wouldn't get off their lazy ### to coke outside instead I'm guilty because Tyson is their main customer so they're always right no matter what. This snake at Tyson never did like me and some have told me because she's jealous of me .She's tried to get me fired more then once.

Obviously we all know those are there for a reason, and that is to cushion the building from the truck.
"But, but..... you still hit it"shogun, Big Don, stevep1977 and 1 other person Thank this. -
To the op, you never worked for UPS, you worked for a employment agency that UPS contracted to. UPS is the most difficult place on the planet to work. it's their way or the hiway, there is no middle ground.
Sho Nuff, LakeLife80, AtticusRoad and 1 other person Thank this. -

UPS freight is NOT UPS brown. Don't get the two confused.
Freight is a lower wage, step up from bottom feeder company. Not even in the same league as UPS brown. -

Even more so if you're dealing with freight coming off a plane. When I worked at UPS at Logan Airport(Boston) everyone was busting their *** to get the planes unloaded (and/or loaded)within usually 2 hours or less. Those Airbus A300s,Boeing 757/767s or (at the time)Douglas DC-8 freighters don't make money sitting on the ground. It was especially more fast paced if there was a Brinks payload on board(gold bullion and/or money going to/coming from an armored car-under police escort no less).

Bison had someone call them claiming that I had driven down their residential street and turned around in their driveway and wiped out their Lincoln SUV. The only problem was that I was parked in a customers parking lot from 4 o'clock in the afternoon till 9 o'clock the next morning. The Qualcomm showed that the truck had not moved or that the engine was even started in that time. They said that they would sue. Bison said,go for it. Never heard anything more about it. This was 7 years ago. They probably wrecked their car and for some reason their insurance wouldn't pay. So they went looking for a victim.
