The guy is pretty funny most of the time but when he screws up he's absolutely hilarious!

what i find funny, is that you're calling me a steering wheel holder, but i've got 2+ yrs experience, and you've got ......less than 1? So if i'm a steering wheel holder, what does that make you?
And if you go back and read the post i made, i did say "belts"....plural....meaning "more than one".....which means.....TWO. i DID NOT say "bunch of belts". You telling me you only have one bulb for your truck? you only carry one hose clamp and one hose? I'm guessin' you dont even have a hose clamp in your tool box, do ya?
wont let me live it down? what are you...a child?? you're obviously gullable, because you were the first person to post on the tread i made about vomiting in a swift building and being taken in for a drug test as 'serious'. LOL.....sorry, i dont call that gullable...i call that pathetic.scottied67 Thanks this. -
The funny thing that is lost on you is that you were running around exclaiming non steering wheel holder status by saying you were going to carry belts for your truck lol but your truck only requires one (1) belt. That action speaks to what everyone has been saying in that perhaps you are indeed not ready to be an O/O, perhaps never even opened the hood to your truck to find out whether you had several belts running things or one belt that runs everything. You simply did not know and now you're hoping that the question just goes away because it is so embarrassing to you. Being embarrassed and shamed about it is a good sign in a way, says you care enough and your heart really is in it I guess.... -
And you're calling me out because i want to carry TWO of some items in my truck?? You're calling me a steering wheel holder, when you'd rather waste your time calling breakdown/on-road because you don't want to carry a hose or clamp? LOL.....now i'm the one amused.
So you'd rather not get your hands dirty fixing a problem with your truck, and get back on the road in 30 min to an hour. You'd rather be the lazy driver, and have someone else do the work for you, sit along side of the road for 3-4+ hrs waiting to get fixed...all the while, your load gets pulled and repowered by someone else?? Time is money, son. You dont seem to understand that......along with simple words out of the english dictionary.
i know, i know...you'll say "but i'm a company driver, it dont cost me anything to call on-road". Okay...keep thinkin' that. You mgiht not pay for the service call or parts or labor, but you're paying for it when you lose the load. I've worked on my own truck when i was a company driver to save time. So what? Simple things like replacing a shorted out pig tail, or air lines that, due to the cold, cracked and need replaced. So what? You'd probably be the driver sitting in line for the shop to get his pigtail replaced, and be inside cryin' to other drivers that you've been in the shop for a day and a half...when you could have had the problem fixed in a minute and a half. -

I'm gonna settle this argument right now!
You both are steering wheel holders!
Although, Scottied67 shows potential to overcome it! BTW way Dick.... A person can change their experience level here to show whatever.... Just like you have! I honestly don't think you've been driving 2 years. A year and a half maybe, but 2 years is a far fetch from you.
And wtf is this Bronze ####? You can't judge ones experience or ability by a feaking color!just lil me and scottied67 Thank this. -
But with BOTH feet in his MOUTH he has nothing to STAND on.
just lil me, outerspacehillbilly and Les2 Thank this. -
Head up his arse. Feet in his mouth.
Quite talented isn't he!outerspacehillbilly and just lil me Thank this. -
I was platinum for a long time but my DM went on vacation without telling me lol (she usually takes care of my mac 22's) I got slammed by 2 service failures in a row which knocked my ranking way down to bronze and just last week came back up to gold. 1 of the service failures she said was not my fault and will be removed soon. The other one I screwed up and got one digit wrong when I sent the mac 22 and boom service failure, wouldn't have happened if I had sent the correct trip number.
I really don't care about the rankings other than the advantages of being able to see available loads with platinum status if sitting too long. The main important things to me are No Accidents, No Tickets. -
Um...hate to tell ya, but you weren't platinum. you've been on the road 6 months, but have been platinum 'for a long time'? you might have been silver or MAYBE gold, but not platinum.
the requirement for OTR platinum is employed a minimun of 90 days, no accidents/svc fails, on time 99.5% or better and a minimun miles of 108,000. So you're saying that you average 4500 mi a week? Cause even at running 2500/wk, you'd need almost 43 weeks of employment to qualify. BUZZZZZ.....sorry, good buddy......u just got shot down.
and that shows your still wet behind the ears. Why would you go down to the truck stop, buy new air lines and pig tail (if all 3 were damaged) and STILL call on-road? I was told if you pull away from a trailer, and you forget your lines are still hooked and you pull them out and they have to be replaced.....its a preventable accident. If you didn't get charged with one, consider yourself very LUCKY.
even if i know i've disconnected the lines from the trailer, after i lower the landing gear and pull the 5th wheel release, i still look again before i climb up into the truck. anybody who damages air-lines cause they "forget" to disconnect....is in too big a hurry, and lazy.
