On my Pete all you have to do is push the stick forward and it cuts the headlights momentarily. Please don’t flash your brights; it just ruins the other drivers night vision.

It also makes the engine real loud to go very fast.

The recent company trucks Ive been in did not feature those special switches to interrupt the headlights and signal lights in the trailer.
Maybe some of the younger ones may never have seen one and don't comprehend what we are trying to do.
I hope you have a good night. I think my little moment of fun went over like a lead balloon.
In the past we used the radio to tell em to come on over.
The problem became 200 trucks within 5 miles think they can come on over now.D.Tibbitt and GypsyWanderlust Thank this. -

I stopped doing this years ago, unless it's to help a guy out pulling wiggle wagons. Nobody these days pays attention anyway, they'll just as soon nearly take your hood off or hang out in the passing lane for miles pissing all the 4-wheelers off.
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
I'll dim my lights for a driver if he's barely going faster than me and has traffic behind him. I'll always thank a driver that I'm passing if they flash or dim their lights, even though I don't need the help.
