It's a joke made because I asked if a 73' load needs more than 6 straps, and he must've taken it as a personal attack or something. It was stated how he would be able to fit enough straps on to comply with securement regulations without risk of damaging the load, but he said he didn't care and the rules were made for the muppets to follow. The peanut gallery chimed in and that should've been the end of it. But here we are again. If nobody is going to change their mind, there's no sense in rehashing it again.

I run flatbed. I run where the money is. I do other things when the money isn't there. I post pictures if somebody has a problem and I feel like it can help. I think the only time I've ever thought about posting a picture to make fun of someone was a meme of Jesus saying "I'm giving a sermon about greed, and all this guy can think about is chocolate covered bacon". But my inner adult reared his ugly head and I never created it.

I’m sorry if you misinterpreted any of my posts, my intention was not to demean you , or the rules.

I threw the other strap on the rear that day, took a picture and tagged you for the fact that it was possible, and should be done.

I have never purported to be a master of securement, or deeply knowledgeable of regulations. Most times I use what little common sense I have, comply with customers rules, and seek advice from others if in doubt.

If you’re ever at exit 29 off I44 in MO at the new Loves - let me know, I’ll buy you lunch , or at least a coffee.

    Regards - Blair.

Lowboy work has its attraction, but not when you’re trying to shoehorn 3 machines on 1 trailer, and definitely not when there’s low ground clearance crap involved like a paver.
