    Hello to all,
I just bought my first Dump Truck, a 2005 Western Star 4900 w/ a Detroit/ Mercedes 450hp motor. Everything looks in great shape and she runs smooth as snail snot. I can't get my hands on the old service records so I am starting from scratch. I have already purchased all new filters from my dealer here in Raleigh. My question to you all is does anyone know where I can go to get a list of OEM fluids that are recommended for the truck?

    Thanks in advance,

    BigJohn

Grab an owners manual and become familiar with it.

congrats!! just a quick tip on the Mercedes engine.i used to own one.make sure you go OEM for the oil filter.i went with aftermarket and it started dropping oil pressure.went back to OEM PROBLEM FIXED.i used to run delo400 15w-40 oil.it hold about 12 gallons.but confirm it with dealer.
