Yes, I knew that Pilot is based out of the "Capital of the Smoky Mountains" but I did not know his son was running for governor of Tennessee.

That's an idea ... I should have asked the fuel desk clerk is she knows if the Pilot logo will now appear on the site or whether the Flying J logo will still be there.

Caddo Mills Tx. No way could you get a car hauler into that place. You could get in but getting out would be questionable. The most horrible parking lot I have ever seen. Prostars drag their air skirting under the cab while attempting to maneuver from the entrance to the fuel island. The place sits on Texas black clay but there are thousands of other heavy duty parking lots in the area that have survived well. Aw well look at the money they saved when they built that place five years ago.

The skirting gets damaged and most companies will charge you with a preventable!

And how about the clearance under the interstate!

Yes, my right CB antenna hits the bridge when crossing under after leaving the Pilot and getting back on 30 westbound. It's marked as a 13'6. Well when I used to stop there at least, too much of a hassle since the fuel island is used for Mcdonalds parking.

Well geeze, if we want to talk about political office, one of the family that owns Love's, used to be on the ODOT transportaion board in Oklahoma. Wonder how much he got out of that?
